Does this replace brushing?

No — think of it as the daily step on top. Brushing is the gold standard; most dogs won't allow it. Lucent is the thing they'll actually take, every day.

My dog gulps everything. Is it safe?

Size to your dog. Lucent is firm enough to make them chew but far softer than an antler or bone, and we make it in sizes so a big dog can't swallow it whole. No chew is risk-free: always supervise chewing.

There's kelp in it — what about my dog's thyroid?
